WHAT IS STAGING?

Staging is a helpful marketing strategy used to ready a property for sale and secure the highest asking price in the shortest amount of time. Essentially, our goal is to make a property appeal to a wide variety of potential buyers as soon as it’s on the market at its premium value. This is accomplished by highlighting the features of a space, and by implementing lifestyle techniques to enhance the flow, function, and general feel of that space to secure the highest return of investment.

How can staging help
in the selling process?

Staging is a strategic process that follows a number of tried and true formulas in order to help the seller achieve their desired return of investment upon selling.

While research from Proctor and Gamble tells us that buyers have made 78% of their decision to buy based on a property’s location and size prior to viewing the interior, sellers can actually control 72% of a buyer’s decision to buy by investing in three areas of a property’s interior. These areas include:

Aesthetic: appeal of overall décor including furniture placement, accent pieces, flow and function of each space

Atmosphere: cleanliness, scent, organization, and elimination of personal items

Condition: lighting, walls/ paint selection, flooring, storage, and modern appliances

This is where our staging experience and expertise come in:
Following the consultation, the seller will receive a detailed action plan comprised of a variety of recommendations catering to these different areas in order to procure the highest return of investment upon selling.

What is the difference between Staging and Interior Decorating?

Staging is a strategic process that focuses on improving the overall aesthetic, feel, and condition of a property in order for it to appeal to a wide variety of potential buyers upon selling. In contrast, interior decorating follows many of the same processes as staging to sell, but is catered to the personal live-in design preferences of an individual homeowner.
